  • Antenna Theory Analysis
    We theoretically and numerically analyze electromagnetic phenomena induced by new materials like nano-materials and meta-structure to apply novel antenna technologies.
  • 5G and beyond 5G Antenna Technologies
    We develop a core technology of active antenna systems to design wide beam scan enhanced gain antennas, 5th generation mobile channel sounder systems, and an accurate calibration with mm-Wave Antenna Measurement.
  • Radar Surveillance System and Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR) System
    We develop various radar systems, such as a drone detecting system, an active electronic scanning radar, Synthetic Aperture Radar systems, and radar target classification using deep learning technologies.
  • mm-wave antenna and Radar Research Center for CubeSat
    supported by MIST(Ministry of Science and ICT), 2018 7. 1 ~ 2024.12.29
    Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR) enables high-resolution, day-and-night and weather-independent observation. Satellites constellation allows observation of a particular location everywhere in the world in less than 20 minutes. Our research focuses on Ka-band deployable antenna and SAR radar payload on a 50 kg microsatellite. Ultimately, we are going to apply the SAR data to AI and Deep Learning technologies to predict and monitor natural disasters.
